Senior Information Management Associate

Job Purpose
The Senior Information Management Associate is responsible for supervising and coordinating the Information Management Team to ensure the effective use of IOM's corporate migrant applications. This role is crucial for maintaining high data quality standards and optimizing business processes that support migrant operational assistance and services across missions. The position contributes to the efficient delivery of IOM's mandate by ensuring robust information systems and processes are in place, enabling better decision-making and service provision to migrants. The associate will also play a key role in system enhancements and providing guidance on system usage and best practices.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage subordinate staff, including performance evaluation and resource coordination. Coordinate data management and reporting, ensuring the compilation, cleaning, analysis, and dissemination of operational and AVRR statistical information. Maintain data quality and integrity within IOM's electronic applications, collaborating with caseworkers for corrections. Conduct business analysis to gather and analyze functional requirements from operational units. Coordinate system enhancements by identifying issues and proposing solutions through improved business processes and SOPs. Provide guidance on system use, business processes, and standard operating procedures for IOM corporate migrant applications. Act as the Mission focal point for these systems, supporting local configuration and adjustments. Assist operational staff with functional and technical issues related to IOM applications.
Work Experience
Experience in information management, data management, business analysis, or system support is required. Experience with Enterprise-Resource-Planning implementation and management, including troubleshooting and aligning policies/processes, is beneficial. Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations in a multi-cultural setting and demonstrated experience in supervising staff and coordinating information management activities are advantageous.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work discreetly, with a client-oriented approach, patience, and a willingness to learn.
