Job Purpose
This internship program aims to attract talented students and graduates interested in migration-related fields. The intern will gain practical experience by supporting the Human Resources team in operational, administrative, and digital documentation activities. This role offers exposure to core HR functions, including staff planning, recruitment, payroll, and HR administration, with a focus on transitioning towards efficient, paperless workflows. The internship provides hands-on experience in HR digitalization, document management, data organization, and digital archiving, contributing to the HR team's capacity and the organization's operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
The intern will provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including preparing employee certificates and drafting reference letters. Key duties involve maintaining and organizing digital personnel files, archiving HR documentation, and assisting in the digitization of HR records. The role also includes supporting HR compliance projects and drafting materials for events and in-house training. The intern will perform other assigned duties under the supervision of the Senior HR Associate and the Chief of Mission, gaining comprehensive exposure to HR administration and operational functions, with an emphasis on digitalization and efficient workflows.
Work Experience
Prior experience in Human Resources or a related administrative field is considered an asset. Interns should generally have less than two years of relevant working experience.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word). Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is required. Interest in international organizations, migration, digitalization, data management, and HR processes.
