Job Purpose

The intern will provide monitoring support for IOM Gambia's "Migrant Protection Return and Reintegration for Sub-Saharan Africa (MPRR-SSA)" initiative, focusing on migration governance, data management, and M&E. Key duties include supporting direct assistance, reintegration, and awareness-raising activities; assisting in the development of M&E tools; reviewing AVRR program business plans and identifying discrepancies; conducting field visits to assess reintegration impact; documenting and filing beneficiary data in a database; preparing monthly monitoring reports; and supporting the assessment of project impacts. The intern will also assist with data cleaning and the preparation of M&E reports, ensuring consideration of disaggregated data.
