Organizational Context

The International Organization for Migration (IOM), a UN-related agency since 1951, promotes humane and orderly migration. The IOM Mission in Poland supports various programmes, including humanitarian response and psychosocial support, with a focus on a project funded by the Republic of Korea. This consultancy contributes to the IOM Poland Communications Unit and the broader mission.

Job Purpose

This consultancy aims to provide comprehensive visual and multimedia support to the IOM Mission in Poland. The role will be instrumental in developing engaging content across various platforms to enhance programme visibility and communication efforts. Key contributions include creating visual assets, managing newsletters and website content, and supporting social media campaigns. The consultant will ensure all materials align with IOM's visual identity and donor requirements, thereby strengthening the mission's outreach and impact. This position plays a crucial role in disseminating information about IOM's work and its partners, contributing to the overall communication strategy and objectives of the organization in Poland.

Responsibilities

Develop and edit visual and multimedia materials, including video, photography, graphics, and other visual assets, adhering to IOM's visual identity standards. Prepare and distribute newsletters and email updates using platforms like MailChimp. Contribute to website content management and publication. Support the planning, creation, and publication of social media content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including basic keyword optimization. Ensure all communication materials comply with donor, partner, and IOM branding requirements. Assist in implementing communication and social media campaigns, including partner coordination and basic output monitoring. Design layouts and visual elements for reports, publications, and presentations, and support template development for various materials, preparing files for print.

Work Experience

Requires proven experience in multimedia production and social media content development. Demonstrated experience with major social media platforms and digital communication tools is essential. Familiarity with design and publishing software is needed. Experience in multicultural environments is an asset.
