Job Purpose

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include assisting in the implementation and monitoring of project activities, retrieving, compiling, and summarizing project-related information and data. The role involves monitoring project budgets, verifying fund availability, and obtaining necessary approvals. The Project Assistant will provide administrative coordination for project implementation, liaising with internal units and external parties to process requests and follow up on actions. Duties also include drafting status reports, identifying delivery shortfalls, and preparing correspondence, reports, and other documentation. Organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions, responding to general inquiries, and maintaining project files are also core functions. The position requires performing other related duties as assigned to ensure project success.
Work Experience
Experience is required in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs. Experience working with vulnerable groups such as migrants, refugees, and victims of trafficking is also necessary. Prior experience in international humanitarian organizations or governmental/non-governmental institutions within a multicultural setting is advantageous.
Skills
Knowledge of migration and mobility policy frameworks; multi-stakeholder coordination in international projects; project cycle management and monitoring; and administrative and financial procedures in international organizations, including procurement and contracts.
