Organizational Context

Job Purpose
The Assistant Field Reintegration role supports the implementation of reintegration activities for migrants in Gao and surrounding regions, as part of a larger EU-funded program. Responsibilities
The Assistant Field Reintegration is responsible for the operational implementation of reintegration activities, including orientation, reintegration support, awareness-raising, and data collection for returning migrants. This involves close coordination with internal units and external partners, assessing migrants' specific needs, and referring them to protection services when necessary. The role includes developing reintegration plans, managing the procurement and distribution of reintegration kits, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to beneficiaries. Key duties also involve alerting supervisors to any challenges, meticulously collecting and updating beneficiary data in the Mimosa database, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires daily follow-up with beneficiaries to ensure the success of their reintegration activities and adherence to IOM's administrative and financial procedures. Additionally, the role may involve providing interpretation services in local languages.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is required for university graduates, or four years for those with a secondary school diploma. Prior experience working with international humanitarian organizations, governmental institutions, or in a multicultural setting is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential, with experience in WAVE being a distinct advantage.
