Job Purpose
This role is crucial for enhancing the Electronic Visa System (e-VISAS) by focusing on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) improvements. The purpose is to analyze, design, and implement solutions that align with functional and technical specifications, ensuring the system is user-friendly, accessible, and visually consistent. The consultant will contribute to the overall effectiveness and usability of the e-VISAS platform, ensuring modifications are applicable across all visa types while respecting individual visa specificities. This involves detailed design work, prototyping, and collaboration with technical and functional teams to deliver a superior user experience.
Responsibilities
The consultant will analyze user flows and system needs, designing user-centered interfaces that prioritize usability, accessibility, and clarity. Key duties include proposing navigation and interaction improvements, creating wireframes and visual designs, and collaborating with functional, technical, and QA teams for accurate implementation. Responsibilities also involve validating design consistency, participating in agile development meetings, and ensuring adherence to design guidelines. Specific deliverables include a UX diagnosis, identification of usability issues, accessibility analysis (WCAG), definition of UX principles and visual guidelines, information architecture design, UX design for critical flows, wireframe creation, interactive prototype development, usability and accessibility testing, and the creation of a Design System with accessibility criteria.
Work Experience
Requires at least 3 years of experience in UX/UI design for web applications, digital platforms, or enterprise systems. Must have at least 3 years of experience in user experience analysis, interface design, wireframing, prototyping, and defining navigation flows. Experience working collaboratively with development teams, functional analysts, and QA in agile environments is also necessary.
