Job Purpose

Responsibilities
The HR Associate is accountable for managing HR services using the HR Request Tracking System (RTS), ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Key duties include coordinating HR data input for hiring, contract management, transfers, promotions, and separations with the HR Hub. Responsibilities also involve verifying eligibility for benefits, monitoring staff contracts and entitlements, and generating necessary reports and documentation. The role includes performing pre-payroll validation and timekeeping activities, updating payroll checklists, and assisting with leave reconciliation. Maintaining trackers, reports, and databases, as well as updating electronic and physical archiving systems, are crucial. The Associate will provide information on entitlements, identify areas for improvement, and support staff onboarding by validating pre-employment requirements and preparing contracts. Additionally, the role involves assisting in organizing HR events, responding to employment verification requests, maintaining personnel files, and preparing payment requests and overtime schedules.
Work Experience
Required experience includes human resource management, specifically in HR data extraction, report preparation, and dashboard creation. Candidates should have experience producing high-quality, detail-oriented HR reports and monitoring tools. Experience working in a multicultural organization or the UN system for at least six months is also required.
Skills
Proficiency in computer use, including HR systems and applications, with working knowledge of Oracle HR. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Familiarity with collaboration platforms like SharePoint and Teams is necessary.
