Organizational Context
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Manila, Philippines, seeks a Senior Supply Chain Associate for Master Data Management. Job Purpose
The Senior Supply Chain Associate (Master Data Management) is responsible for supporting central Master Data Management (MDM) activities and delivering critical services to IOM offices worldwide. This role acts as a key liaison, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of master data, particularly vendor information, to facilitate smooth supply chain operations. The position requires close collaboration with internal units, headquarters, and the Supply Chain Division, as well as managing relationships with outsourced service providers and providing specialized customer support to missions and suppliers. The objective is to maintain high data quality standards, ensure compliance, and contribute to the overall efficiency of IOM's global supply chain through effective data management and support.
Responsibilities
The Senior Supply Chain Associate will manage and maintain master data accuracy, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies. This includes serving as the primary contact for data management, supporting supply chain activities, and monitoring adherence to data governance. The role involves engaging with outsourced providers for vendor approvals and supporting IOM offices in vendor onboarding. Specialized customer support will be provided to missions and suppliers regarding vendor data and compliance, addressing inquiries and resolving data-related issues. Regular data quality checks will be conducted on vendor records to maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity. The associate will verify vendor sanctions screening results to ensure compliance with international regulations and prevent transactions with sanctioned entities. Contributions will be made to developing and maintaining knowledge resources and training materials. Findings from quality assurance activities will be documented, and master data will be proactively cleansed to manage inactive, duplicate, and missing records. The role also involves proposing and supporting initiatives for system enhancements, master data quality improvements, analytics, and reporting.
Work Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in data management and client data handling is required, preferably within procurement or supply chain operations. Demonstrated experience in providing effective customer support is also necessary.
Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Proficiency in data entry and validation techniques; Knowledge of data management principles and best practices; Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and ticketing systems (Freshservice preferred); Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
