This role operates within the North Aegean region under the 'North Aegean 2021–2027' Programme, collaborating with authorities and partners.
Job Purpose
This role is crucial for facilitating the integration of beneficiaries of international and temporary protection into the Greek labor market. The Employability Facilitator will support these individuals through various activities, including employability support, language courses, and vocational training, contributing to their independent living and social inclusion. The position aims to enhance beneficiaries' access to employment opportunities by connecting them with potential employers and providing guidance on necessary documentation and qualifications. The role directly contributes to the project's objective of comprehensive actions for labor market integration, under the supervision of the Regional Coordinator and Project Team Lead.
Responsibilities
The Employability Facilitator will support labor market integration through individual and group career counseling. Key duties include mapping potential employers, identifying job vacancies, and cultivating collaborations with private sector entities to enhance beneficiary employability. The role involves connecting beneficiaries with job opportunities and organizing workshops and events focused on labor market access. Additionally, the facilitator will advise beneficiaries on required documentation for employment and reimbursement, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain records of verification means. The position also entails performing other assigned duties as necessary.
Work Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is required. Candidates should possess a suitable combination of knowledge, education, training, and skills to perform the essential functions of the position. Experience working in a multicultural environment is preferred.
Skills
Proficiency in standard software applications is necessary. Strong work ethics and commitment to humanitarian principles are essential. A valid driver's license with at least five years of driving experience is an advantage. Fluency in English and Greek (oral and written) is required.
