Organizational Context
This role supports the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Manila, Philippines, reporting to the National Human Resources Data Integrity Officer and HR Officer. It contributes to global HR compliance, data integrity, and system enhancements, collaborating with various IOM offices worldwide.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure global compliance with IOM's HR policies and procedures, focusing on maintaining and enhancing data integrity across HR systems. The incumbent will support the implementation of the HR data framework, contribute to data accuracy, and assist in coordinating HR audits. This position plays a crucial part in upholding the reliability and consistency of HR data, enabling informed decision-making and efficient HR operations across the organization. The role also involves supporting HR communities and providing guidance on data analysis and system improvements.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting HR worldwide with Data Governance initiatives, monitoring, and training, and identifying process improvements. The role involves verifying HR data in systems like ERP for accuracy and consistency, and supporting HR communities focused on HR analytics. It requires analyzing existing HR tools to suggest efficiency improvements and developing new validations and controls. The position will track data validation errors, analyze trends, and provide insights for decision-making. Additionally, the role involves assisting in planning and delivering training on compliance and data integrity, providing specialized guidance to resolve data issues, compiling HR information for audit reports, and contributing to process reviews of ERP system functionalities.
Work Experience
Required experience includes proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience in data analysis and quality assurance. Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP systems and practical experience in Power BI are highly advantageous. Experience within IOM or the UN System is preferred. Attention to detail and the ability to organize work methodically are essential.
