Job Purpose

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include conducting field assessments for repair needs across diverse infrastructure types, drafting technical documentation such as Bills of Quantities and engineering drawings, and assisting with procurement processes. The role involves rigorous quality, timeline, and cost control, monitoring on-site progress, and managing any necessary design changes. Ensuring compliance with safety measures and donor visibility requirements is critical. The Consultant will also support administrative coordination, liaise with internal units and external parties, maintain proper documentation, and uphold IOM's zero-tolerance policy on sexual exploitation and abuse.
Work Experience
Required experience includes construction engineering, contract management, and technical supervision of construction/reconstruction projects. Experience in planning and implementing civil design and WASH projects is also necessary. Prior work with NGOs or international organizations is advantageous.
