Organizational Context
The Field Operations Section (FOS) of the ICAO’s Capacity Development and Implementation Bureau (CDI) is responsible for the development, execution, monitoring, reporting and closure of projects within the Capacity Development and Implementation Programme (CDIP). FOS provides advice and assistance on civil aviation matters including safety, air navigation, security, economic development, and environmental protection, aligning with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and Strategic Goals. FOS implements the CDIP using a One-Single Process approach to enhance service orientation and deliver greater value to Member States and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with internal regulations and ISO 9001 procedures.
Job Purpose
To support the Field Operations Section (FOS) in managing projects and operational tasks. The intern will assist in maintaining documentation, preparing financial forecasts and reports, drafting correspondence, and supporting event organization and promotional material preparation.
Responsibilities
Populate and maintain document repositories, reporting tools, and project management tools. Assist in preparing financial forecast tables and reporting requirements. Help prepare correspondence for project development and implementation. Assist in preparing for conferences, including inventory and resource management. Support the organization of the CDI Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS). Aid in preparing marketing or promotional materials. Perform other related duties as required.
