Internship – Operational Safety Section (OPS)
Organizational Context
The Air Navigation Bureau (ANB) provides technical guidance and expertise across aviation-related disciplines to Member States and stakeholders. It is responsible for implementing safety and air navigation plans, developing technical studies, and managing the Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP). The intern will join the Operational Safety (OPS) Section within ANB.
Job Purpose
This internship aims to provide a student or recent graduate with practical experience in international civil aviation, focusing on standards development and regulatory frameworks within the Operational Safety Section. The intern will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of ICAO technical Annexes and regulatory documents.
Responsibilities
Support the Operational Safety (OPS) Section in tasks related to ICAO technical Annexes and regulatory documents. Conduct research, analyze information, and present findings. Assist in reviewing documents, preparing technical documents, and contributing to the update of SARPs and guidance material. Support ICAO bodies, respond to correspondence, and conduct research on applications and tools. Assist with data analysis, data pipeline development, and AI-related tasks including prompt engineering.
