Organizational Context

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is a knowledge-based organization focused on aviation safety, air navigation, security, and environmental protection. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Section within the Bureau of Administration and Services (ADB) manages enterprise applications and systems, including data management and business intelligence initiatives. This role supports the BI-EDM project, aiming to operationalize enterprise data management and foster a data-driven organization.

Job Purpose

To develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise data analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), and reporting solutions for ICAO's functional departments. This role supports the ongoing operationalization of the BI-EDM project by analyzing ERP data and creating reports using various BI tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain BI and reporting solutions for departments like Finance, HR, and Procurement. Analyze ERP data (Unit4 and Oracle Fusion) and create reports using Microsoft Azure Synapse, Power BI, and Oracle reporting tools. Gather and document client reporting requirements, manage development using Azure DevOps and Agile/SCRUM methodologies. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models. Conduct data quality assessments and provide system-level support for data infrastructure and platforms.

Work Experience

Requires a minimum of seven years of professional experience in analyzing ERP data and developing reporting/BI solutions using SDLC or Agile/SCRUM. Must have at least five years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (RDBMS, SSMS, SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions) and two years of experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse, Power BI, dimensional modeling, and Azure DevOps. Desirable experience includes working in an international/UN environment and with Oracle Fusion ERP reporting tools.
