Organizational Context

The Field Operations Section (FOS) is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and closure of technical assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects. It develops agreements and assists developing countries and regional projects and programs by identifying priority areas, defining objectives, activities, and deliverables, and establishing schedule and budget requirements. The section executes these programs and projects in accordance with ICAO policies. This project aims to assist ASECNA in conducting a technical and operational audit.

Job Purpose

To assist ASECNA in conducting a technical and operational audit by preparing and submitting a work plan, analyzing the organizational context, developing the audit framework, and contributing to data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit a work plan for the mission, analyze the organizational context and audit scope, develop the audit framework for ANS/ATM, contribute to Terms of Reference (ToR) consolidation and priority setting, identify information needs, contribute to data collection methodology, collect and prepare audit documentation, structure and organize data for analysis, and contribute to pre-audit reports and presentations.

Work Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in air navigation operations, particularly in air traffic management. Proven experience in preparing or conducting audits, inspections, or evaluations, preferably of ANSPs. Familiarity with ICAO standards and practices, and CANSO (Standards of Excellence, etc.) frameworks.

Skills

Judgment/Decision-making, Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, knowledge of IIA standards and best practices, knowledge of ICAO standards and practices, experience with CANSO frameworks.
