Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Air Navigation Services Expert

Organizational Context

The role is within the Aviation Safety and Environmental Sustainability sector, supporting the General Management of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) at GACA. It involves coordination with internal departments, regulatory bodies, OEMs, operators, and international aviation organizations.

Job Purpose

To conduct studies and analyses for the safe integration of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) systems into air-traffic management (ATM) networks, develop technical frameworks, and define system requirements for AAM operations.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical analyses and studies for AAM integration into the aviation system, build technical capabilities, develop regulations and procedures, assess ATM needs, develop air-route models for VTOL aircraft, analyze CNS system requirements, participate in low-level airspace concepts, evaluate air-traffic congestion, prepare operational regulations, and support testing and flight trials for AAM systems.

Work Experience

Minimum 12 years of experience in the field. Desirable experience with ICAO standards and recommended practices related to AAM or emerging aviation technologies.
