ERP Functional Lead, Finance, Planning and Budget
Organizational Context
The Department of Management (MT) provides essential services supporting the IAEA's scientific and technical programmes, acting as a partner and business enabler for efficiency and change. The Division of Information Technology (IT) manages the Agency's IT strategy, standards, and services, including the Oracle-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, AIPS. The AIPS Management Section (AMS) oversees the operations, maintenance, and improvements of the AIPS system.
Job Purpose
The ERP Functional Lead, Finance, Planning and Budget is a key member of the AIPS Management Section, reporting to the Section Head. This role provides expert advice and technical application support for the IAEA's ERP system (AIPS) specifically within the domains of Finance, Programme Planning & Implementation, Risk Management, Budget Preparation, and Programme Assessment. The position leverages deep knowledge of Oracle ERP modules and related business processes to ensure the effective functioning and continuous improvement of the AIPS system, contributing to the overall efficiency of the Agency's management and technical programmes.
Responsibilities
The ERP Functional Lead will provide functional expertise in Oracle eBS Financial and PPM modules, and Oracle EPM/Hyperion Planning, supporting end-users and delivering solutions for application service requests. This includes leading the implementation of system changes, enhancements, and upgrades, and providing Level 2 support for AIPS in Financial, PPM, and Planning & Budget areas, including custom reports and analytics. The role involves managing ERP configurations, supporting future upgrades or cloud migration projects, and coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to ensure stable application performance. Additionally, the incumbent will recommend and implement process improvements, document functional requirements, validate through testing, and design and deliver user training programmes and manuals.
Work Experience
A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience is required in implementing or providing post-go-live support for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, Oracle Cloud EPM/Hyperion Planning, or Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials. This includes experience in business analysis, solution design and implementation, maintaining configurations, and managing ERP projects and enhancements.
Skills
Expertise in Oracle eBS Financial and PPM modules, Oracle EPM/Hyperion Planning, or Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials. Experience in business analysis, solution design, implementation, and configuration management. Strong understanding of ITIL and project management best practices. Ability to coordinate with stakeholders, manage vendors, and deliver user training. Knowledge of Finance, Planning, and Budgeting domains is desirable.
