Job Purpose
This consultancy provides technical expertise for developing and improving computerized solutions to enhance business processes and systems within the Division of Human Health. The role involves applying technical knowledge to create effective information systems and data collection methods, adhering to IAEA standards. The consultant will also contribute expertise to the collation of statistics from coordinated research projects and other reporting tasks, ensuring efficient data management and system support.
Responsibilities
The consultant will maintain existing divisional IT solutions, including databases, web, and desktop applications, utilizing modern frameworks like .NET and C#. Responsibilities include conducting requirements analysis for new software systems, implementing solutions with acceptance testing, and managing infrastructure and security upgrades. The role also involves user training, documentation preparation, and planning data management solutions for research projects and reporting. Daily management of data and databases is crucial to support projects and ensure successful outcomes, including planning, implementing, monitoring, and documenting activities.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of experience is required in database administration, information/data modelling, systems administration, and database design/development (e.g., SQL, Microsoft SQL). Experience in frontend and backend development, preferably with C# and .NET, is also necessary.
Skills
Proficiency in database administration, data modelling, software engineering, and database development. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering life cycles. Experience with MS POWERBI for data visualization and reporting is an asset. Good command of English is essential.
