Job Purpose
The ERP Oracle Functional and Technical Consultant (HR and Payroll) will provide critical technical expertise and advisory support for the Agency-wide Information System for Programme Support (AIPS) within the AIPS Management Section. This role focuses on addressing operational issues and implementing enhancement requests specifically within the Human Resources and Payroll domains of the Oracle ERP system. The consultant's contributions are vital for maintaining and improving the efficiency and functionality of these core business processes, ensuring the AIPS system effectively supports the IAEA's programmatic and administrative needs.
Responsibilities
The consultant will offer expert technical advice on integrations and interfaces between AIPS applications and third-party systems. Responsibilities include developing CEMLI components (Configuration, Extension, Modification, Localization, Integration) using Oracle technologies and middleware. This involves planning and executing testing for these components, ensuring data accuracy and infrastructure adequacy, and leading their deployment to the production environment. The role also entails advanced analysis and resolution of technical and performance issues, documenting developed components, and providing technical assistance. Collaboration with the business team for testing and securing business sign-off on developed solutions is also a key function.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of relevant working experience with Oracle Human Resources (HCM) and Oracle Payroll is required. Ten years of experience as an Oracle PLSQL developer is also necessary. Experience in developing Reports, Workflows, Conversions, and Extensions, along with familiarity with AOL and XML Publisher, is essential.
Skills
Expertise in Oracle HCM and Payroll, Oracle PLSQL development, CEMLI development, integration and interface management, testing and deployment of ERP components, problem analysis and resolution, and technical documentation. Familiarity with ITIL and Oracle Fusion Cloud Apps is advantageous. Project management certification (PMP, Prince2) is desirable. Excellent command of English is required.
