The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Country Offices, led by an FAO Representative, are instrumental in assisting governments. Job Purpose
The Videographer will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that effectively documents and promotes the project's focus, interventions, results, and overall impact across various selected governorates in Egypt. This role is crucial for visually communicating the project's achievements and engaging stakeholders through compelling storytelling. The produced videos will serve as key communication tools to highlight the project's significance and outcomes to a broad audience, ensuring alignment with FAO's communication standards and objectives.
Responsibilities
The Videographer will collaborate closely with FAO Egypt (FAOEG), RNE Communications, and the Office of Communications (OCC) to produce videos in English and Arabic with appropriate subtitles, adhering to FAO's video production guidelines. They will incorporate feedback from RNE Communications and OCC to ensure clearance and final approval of all video outputs, maintaining corporate policy compliance. Field missions will be undertaken to capture human-interest stories, project results, and beneficiary perspectives. The role involves attending meetings for subject matter orientation and conducting interviews with project stakeholders, subject to consent and clearance. All raw footage must be delivered to the FAO Egypt country office. The incumbent will also liaise with OCC to ensure compliance with standards, messaging, and clearance processes, following FAO's strategic framework, social media policies, branding guidelines, and style guides.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in photography, videography, multimedia content production, and visual storytelling is essential. This experience should demonstrate a strong ability to produce high-quality visual content that effectively communicates project objectives and outcomes.
Skills
Key skills include Results Focus, Teamwork, Communication, Building Effective Relationships, and Knowledge Sharing and Continuous Improvement. Proficiency in using AI in video editing and drone operation (where licensed) are also valuable technical skills for this role.
