Organizational Context

Job Purpose
The Project Team Coordinator is responsible for the effective and timely implementation of project activities at the provincial level, managing daily operations and coordinating interventions related to cash-plus and climate-resilient agriculture. This role provides crucial technical support in applying climate-resilient and risk-informed approaches in the field, fostering partnerships with local government units, community organizations, and stakeholders. The coordinator also oversees capacity building initiatives, promotes inclusive participation in line with GEDSI and Environmental and Social Safeguards, and supports project planning, monitoring, reporting, and adaptive management to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
Serve as the Project Team Coordinator, leading the overall implementation of the Transformative Climate-Resilient Agriculture (CRA) project, including supervising personnel and providing technical guidance. Support the Budget Holder in developing and updating the project workplan and budget, and lead project mobilization activities such as baseline assessments and inception validation. Oversee beneficiary targeting, registration, and database management, ensuring inclusive approaches. Supervise procurement planning and the timely delivery of project inputs. Coordinate cash assistance and cash-for-work activities, ensuring compliance and monitoring. Provide technical guidance on climate-resilient agriculture and related interventions. Oversee capacity building activities and the deployment of project technologies. Monitor project progress, results, and delivery against plans, and prepare regular technical and progress reports. Ensure adaptive management by integrating monitoring results and lessons learned into planning. Identify and resolve operational risks and bottlenecks. Establish and maintain effective coordination with government agencies, LGUs, partner organizations, and donors. Facilitate trainings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities. Promote inclusive participation of vulnerable groups and ensure integration of GEDSI principles and Environmental and Social Safeguards. Oversee recruitment, travel, and procurement processes. Contribute to project communication and knowledge products. Provide regular updates to management and the donor.
Work Experience
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required in agriculture/rural development sectors, programme management and implementation, capacity building, and coordination with government structures, NGOs, the private sector, and UN agencies.
Skills
Key skills include Results Focus, Teamwork, Communication, Building Effective Relationships, and Knowledge Sharing. The ability to work under pressure in complex contexts and within diverse teams is essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Filipino are required, along with strong report writing abilities. Willingness to travel to project sites is necessary. Working knowledge of local dialects is an advantage. Proficiency in standard office software, such as MS Office, is also required.
