Organizational Context

The Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Budapest, Hungary, is a centre of excellence delivering high-quality, cost-effective administrative services. The SSC focuses on quality assurance, customer satisfaction, process standardization, and automation to enhance service excellence and reduce costs. This role requires office attendance.
Job Purpose
This role focuses on compliance and service delivery within human resources. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the quality, transparency, and consistency of HR data and processes. By managing HR operations effectively, the position contributes to the smooth functioning of the department and supports the overall objectives of the Shared Services Centre. The role involves handling various HR tasks to maintain efficient and accurate HR services for the organization.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive human resources support for contract management and administration of entitlements for International Affiliate Personnel. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, maintaining transparency and consistency in transactions. Review, update, and maintain confidential personnel information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. Analyze HR cases, research issues, and provide solutions aligned with existing policies, handling non-routine and complex cases. Collect background information, draft correspondence, reports, and statistics. Participate in data quality assignments and process improvement projects. Inform clients about HR procedures via email and Service Now, monitoring and processing cases within Service Level Agreements. Train new team members and share process knowledge to uphold high service standards. Report any irregularities or inconsistencies to the supervisor and perform other related duties as required.
Work Experience
One year of relevant experience in administrative and human resources support work is required. Experience with corporate computerized administrative systems, such as Oracle, for processing and analyzing data is also necessary.
Skills
Proficiency in Results Focus, Teamwork, Communication, Building Effective Relationships, and Knowledge Sharing and Continuous Improvement. Demonstrated experience using corporate computerized administrative systems like Oracle for data processing and analysis. Good knowledge of communication and documentation standards. Knowledge of another FAO official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset.
