Job Purpose
The Internship Programme at FAO aims to attract talented and motivated young individuals who can bring new perspectives, innovative ideas, and recent academic experience to the organization's diverse fields of work. It provides a valuable learning opportunity for participants to supplement their theoretical knowledge with practical experience, contributing to FAO's mission and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Responsibilities
Interns will undertake specific functions as outlined in the Terms of Reference (TOR) prepared by the respective hiring office. This involves applying academic knowledge to practical work assignments within FAO's domains. Responsibilities will be tailored to the intern's profile and the organization's operational requirements, contributing to projects and initiatives that support FAO's strategic framework and the 2030 Agenda.
